The company purchased a 10 acre field next to the A1 in Grantham, and in 1989, Downtown Grantham first opened for trade.
By 1996 a new floor was added to the store, allowing space for Boundary Mill Stores on the Ground floor.
The Grantham site continued to flourish and a Garden Centre was added to the site in 2000.
The presence of Boundary Mill Stores; the largest mill store operator in the UK, has helped our site to become firmly established as a major regional retail and outlet destination.
With over 700 people currently employed on the site, Downtown plays a leading role in supporting the economy of Grantham and the wider South Kesteven District with more than 90% of the workforce residing locally.
We have now traded successfully in Grantham for 28 years and delivery of our exciting plans will underpin our presence in the town for future generations!
